Over the years, the Casino Select team have been lucky enough to be a part of various events that are raising money for charities all over the South West.
This year has been no exception, with ELF, Click Sargent and Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust all approaching us to provide either a Fun Casino or Photo Booth at their fundraisers.
ELF, standing for Exeter Leukemia Fund, have a vision to provide every family affected by a blood cancer or blood disorder across the South West compassionate, tailored support. This month, we were there to add a ‘Casino Royale’ feel to their 007 themed charity ball, held at Exeter Castle. Pictured below, are drinks reception sponsors, Tozers, all glammed up for the evening.
We were on hand with our Fun Casino for the third year in a row at Cornwall Air Ambulances summer charity ball back in July. Their theme was Magnificent Flying Circus – very apt for a charity whose strapline is ‘Saving Time. Saving Lives’, made possible by their magnificent flying machine. Their air ambulance, launched in 1987, has now completed over 26,000 missions. It truly is an honour to be a part of this firm fixture in their fundraising calendar and, through donations made to take part in the Fun Casino, help contribute towards to the £3m per annum it takes to run this amazing charity.
Families in Grief (FIG) supports children and young people and their families who have experienced the loss of someone close to them. They held their 10th Anniversary Ball at Ocean Kave in Westward Ho! and we were invited to bring the casino to assist in adding something new to the event. We had a ball!
For the first time, we were asked to join national charity who provide cancer support for the young, CLIC Sargent. Coinciding with childhood cancer awareness month, CLIC Sargent held a ball at the beautiful and historical Torre Abbey Spanish Barn, Torquay. Geared up with both the casino and our photo booth, the evening was a huge success and proved to us that photo booths really do add a new fun element to these dos. Put people, props and a photo booth together – you’ll be delighted with the results!
